Passion Crafted.
A botanical recipe scribbled on the back page of a book found in the greenhouse at an abandoned palatial home from 1920s Mumbai. A new Anglo-Indian owner with a passion for creating light, delicate Gin. The story was simple, the opportunity obvious & Svarga (meaning heaven) was born.
To reflect the products light, delicate, clean & pure taste, we set about crafting an identity to match. We commissioned renowned British artist, Greg Coulton to bring the concept to life by weaving the 11 botanicals, art-deco framing, Indian references and property architecture and intricately weave them in & around the bottle.
As a bespoke bottle was not an option, we worked with an international glass manufacturer to adapt an existing form and create a one off, semi-opaqe soft touch coating that reflects the gins exceptionally smooth quality. Finally we managed to use reclaimed marble from the estate to top off the bottle enclosures.
