Blackpool is a seaside resort on the north-west coast of England. Known for its miles of golden beaches, fun-fairs, tower and illuminations. It also has a more hedonistic nightlife scene that attracts millions every year.

Sadly the food that caters for both is often a raft of greasy, unappetising, poor quality that leaves a bad taste in peoples mouths, but also their wallets. Fortunately our client is part of a new wave of entrepreneurs that are determined to elevate the towns culinary reputation. Serving modern twists on sea-side classics.

Pococabana, (meaning little hut - named by our client) is a clever nod towards the tiny food truck they initially operated from, before moving to seafront unit on the historic North Pier.

A bold brand mark inspired by lazy days under a beach umbrella sets the tone for the rest of the brand identity. Bold, Fun, wholesome, bright, playful and electric mix of Summer vibes and a cheeky Blackpool twist.



The brands illustrations and tone of voice was a nod towards the classic saucy seaside postcards that have been a mainstay of British seaside resorts since the 1950s due to there cheeky takes on British life and awash with risky innuendo.

The final brand was loved by all and is currently undergoing a change of direction to be sold as franchise model with more locations to open in 2025.
