Rare. Sweet. Vivacious.

A family run winemaker invited us to revive its once loved, now out of fashion type of rare, sweet and naturally fermented red wine that is drank chilled and has been produced in Lombardy since the 1950s.

Wanting to break away from the traditional and somewhat daunting name of Sangue di Giuda (Blood of Judas or Blood Wine), the product was renamed it to Briosità (meaning lively), to appeal to a wider audience and reflect the natural bubbly characteristics of the wine.

A new brand identity was created and features a simple crafted word-mark surrounded by a system of inter-changeable radiating patterns inspired from the stonework and carvings found around the vineyards 1805 estate.

The range was expanded to include White & Rose varieties and re-packaged in Prosecco-style bottles to help identify its sparkling nature.

Launched in Summer 2024, the brand is now modern, simple & elegant and fits perfectly with the brand aim to make this drink a refreshing post-beach Aperitif on a warm Italian summers day.
